Last week, Techstars' NYC powered by JP Morgan Managing Director, Gary Stewart, wrote a post on LinkedIn that started like this:
Seems that most investors have moved on from their outrage after George Floyd's death. Black founders only got 0.43% of VC funding in Q3 2022, according to TechCrunch. https://lnkd.in/eYfJ-a8a That's $187 million out of $43 billion allocated. That's almost half of the $350 million that Adam Neumann, WeWork's controversial founder, raised by himself during the same period.
Naturally, we had to pass the mic to him to talk about what underrepresented founders need to be doing to raise capital in the current fundraising environment.
Wanna tap in to hear from Gary?
